Use of the required infrastructure
For the development and production of your food, we offer you more than 1,000 square meters of laboratory and technical center space with pilot systems for the production of liquid , solid or powdered food .
We also give you access to coworking spaces and meeting rooms.
Founding students at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences in all degree programs as well as all employees have free access to the entire infrastructure.
Food startups have the opportunity to gain access user agreement
Imparting the required specialist knowledge
As HSWT students interested in starting a business, you can acquire the necessary specialist knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship in modules. We currently offer an academy program for external parties. An international certificate program for founding food startups will start in 2024. Those interested in starting a business in agriculture, gastronomy or crafts are also welcome.

Financial support
We support student start-up teams grants for product development and the establishment of pilot production.
We support those interested in founding innovative companies in applying for an Exist start-up grant . If the application is successful, we will then provide the founding teams with laboratories, technical center facilities and workstations for the project phase.
As a food startup, you can receive support through accelerator programs.
In addition, we give you access to capital through our network of business angels and investors.
