There are no limits to your creativity! On more than 1,000 square meters of laboratory and pilot plant areas you will find pilot plants for the development, production and packaging of liquid, solid or powdered foods.
Students of the HSWT as well as participants of academy and certificate programs can use all facilities of the Food Startup Incubator such as laboratories, pilot plants or coworking spaces free of charge .
Food startups, as already newly founded companies have the possibility to get access to the diverse pilot plants and production premises as well as to long rooms via a user agreement.

Coworking space and meeting rooms
In addition to the laboratory and technical center areas, a large coworking space is available for our teaching and further education programs. Equipped with video technology, events can be held here in presence and hybrid.
The room can be flexibly furnished . Tables for seminars, seating for lectures for up to 40 people and flipcharts and moderation walls for workshops are available.
In addition, several meeting rooms can be booked at FSIWS. The rooms are freely available to participants of academy and certificate programs and HSWT students. The use for startups is subject to a fee via a usage agreement.
Imparting the required expertise
As a startup enthusiast , you can gain the expertise you need in Entrepreneurship & Food through academy and certificate programs, as well as in the Bachelor's or Master's degree programsn at the HSWT.
We will coach you through the entire start-up process.
Those interested in setting up a business in agriculture, gastronomy or the trades are also very welcome.
Free access to the basic knowledge needed for food development, production as well as marketing and sales is offered to all interested parties within the framework of the online courses on our Knowledge Hub.
