A total of 11 organizational units provided informative insights at St. John's Day . The Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences was also involved, making its university campus tangible.
“ St. John’s Day ” is a special event in the region. The Agricultural Schools (LLA) first organized it as a “Family Day” in 1976 and held it for the 47th time this year. With over 300 exhibitors on the subject of agriculture, they are the main attractions. Several fleets of different agricultural machines were on display. Animals could be seen and petted.
The green campus of the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences is centrally located at the event location and offered a program for all age groups: whether right at the beginning at the Josef Göppel specialist forum, where a specialist audience exchanged views on topics relating to rural regional development around Triesdorf, at the children's university with a hands-on laboratory or in college sports. Prospective students received information about their desired course of study at various information stands. The Green Office informed visitors about topics related to sustainability at the HSWT. Many other partners such as the Biomass Institute (BIT), the Commission for the Regulation of Diocesan Employment Contract Law ( KoDA ) and the Fraunhofer Institute also provided information about their projects.
The FSIWS also there. Together with Impact³ Triesdorf, the joint sustainable start-up support of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), Ansbach University of Applied Sciences (HSA) and HSWT, the visitors were able to gain exciting insights into start-up support and various startups that already come from the university's ranks have emerged.
Next year St. John's Day place again in Triesdorf on the last Sunday in June.
