As part of our gastronomy initiative, the aim was to support restaurants in not only offering their special dishes on-site, but also making them accessible to a wider customer base, thus creating an additional source of income. One possible approach was to package products in a shelf-stable way, label them, and market them accordingly.

The shift in food consumption was increasingly characterized by a desire for regional products and for high-quality, nutritionally sound goods. At the same time, trust in regionally produced food with traceable origins grew, along with a willingness to invest more in these products.
The initiative supported farmers in developing their own food products directly on the farm, thereby increasing their added value and expanding the range of regionally produced food. This aimed to give local products a stronger presence in the market and to highlight additional income opportunities for agricultural businesses.

Lecture series on health and nutrition by AOK Bayern and HSWT
Together with AOK Bayern Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of (HSWT) launched series of lectures on health and nutrition in the Digital Lecture Lab of the Food Startup Incubator Weihenstephan.
The first lectures, held until the end of 2022, covered a wide range of exciting topics, from the effects of nutrition on health to background information on mental health.
The free lectures could be attended in person , but were also simultaneously available to follow live online via the internet. Due to limited space, advance registration was required for in-person attendance ( see link to register for each lecture below) .
