Just in time for the rise in temperatures in Germany and the start of summer, our certificate participants are really stepping up their game when it comes to “cooling down for the body and the mind”.
Awaken feelings of home with milk ice cream from the Allgäu/ice cream from the ice hut
Sonja, a participant in the certificate course from the second batch, applied in 2022 with the idea of producing milk ice cream with as few additives as possible from the milk of her neighboring cows in the Allgäu and successfully completed the certificate in 2023.
After graduating, she continued to pursue her idea and founded her startup Eisglut shortly afterwards. She was also able to realize her wish to sell her ice cream in small ice cream huts for walkers, hikers and simply anyone who wanted a quick refreshment. Her delicious milk ice cream creations have been available in 2 small huts in the Allgäu for a few days now.
Fruit ice cream from Ecuador
In the last certificate course, which ended at the beginning of July, there was ice cream to taste and develop - Paulina's Fear Ice Cream with Hilli Fruits. Paulina's idea is to bring the fruity diversity of Ecuador to Germany, which she has so far only done with her preservative-free fruit purees. A few days ago she opened her own ice cream parlor in Rodalben. You can now enjoy their exotic fruit ice cream selection there, which not only delights children but also adults on Rodalbener Hauptstrasse.
