Cave of the Triesdorf Tigers / E³ Impact & Innovation @Triesdorf

| FreeOn June 26, 2024, this year's IMPACT E³ AWARD was awarded at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences as part of the IMPACT E³ project.
The award represents a special honor for students who demonstrate a promising solution to current social or ecological challenges with an innovation or startup idea.
As part of this year's edition of the “Triesdorf Tiger Cave”, students from different universities presented four innovative project ideas to the audience and an expert jury.
The committee of “investors” consisted of Prof. Dr. Iryna Smetanska, Prof. Dr. Johannes Holzner from the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition and Jacquline Sommer, who is significantly involved in various educational projects in Tanzania and as a partner with GREEN TEC DIALYSIS for sustainable technologies in dialysis (kidney washing). With Tamara Rogalski as an employee on the IMPACT E³ project and long-time start-up consultant and entrepreneur, the team was harmoniously rounded off.
Just like with his counterpart, after the pitches, the jurors gave their professional assessment of the startups. But instead of a partnership, the participants received various prizes provided by cooperation partners, such as tickets for the IMPACT FESTIVAL in Frankfurt, personal start-up advice and a creative check of €1,000 from the marketing agency lauterbach Kreativbetreuung.
With the “Triesdorfer Tresen”, as a solution for a relaxed meeting place, four HSWT students came in fourth place.
Third place went to Martin Kunstmann, who wants to help shape the diet of the future with his idea of cultivation and marketing methods for regional chickpeas.
Second place and the IMPACT E³ Award 2024 were handed over to Felix Haberkorn. He would like to make it easier for farmers to obtain information using a chatbot “Agrar GPT”.
The four-person team from “BeePantry” was the most convincing. The jury awarded first place for your idea to develop an app that users can use to reduce their food waste. The team met through participation in the Impact Creators program at FAU, which is also part of the IMPACt E³ program.
Funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art, the IMPACT E³ program is a cooperation between the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT), the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences (HSA) and the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU).During the project period of 2022 In 2026, students from all departments at the three universities can apply for the IMPACT Award with their innovative ideas.
