FSIWS receives the 2nd place with 4.000€. The practical certificate course offered by us was able to decisively increase the share of female founders in the food startup ecosystem. This was achieved especially with targeted scholarships for women and mothers interested in founding a company.

This year, with the motto "Tailwind for prospective female entrepreneurs in Bavaria" , 3 cash prizeswere awarded to universities from Bavaria that motivate, qualify or support female students or researchers with targeted measures in relation to the topic of entrepreneurship. A total of 26 applications were submitted from all over Bavaria.

Currently, only just under 20 percent of all founders are female. This means that a lot of potential remains untapped - also at universities. That's why this year's HOCHPSRUNGAward honored measures and concepts that help raise awareness of and qualify more female students and scientists for the topic of entrepreneurship. In total, cash prizes worth
12,000 euros were awarded. The HOCHSPRUNG Award is sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts.
